Birthday Cake

Recently one of my sisters had her fifth birthday. She wanted a chocolate cake with strawberry frosting and gummy worms. Here are the results of the cake I made her.

I baked half the gummy worms in the cake. They  dissolved :( .

Banana Bread

Mix 1/2 cup of butter with 1 cup of sugar. Beat in 2 eggs. Put 2-3 mashed bananas, 1/4 cup milk, and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Add 2 cups flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1/4 tsp of salt. OPTIONAL : Add 1 cup of chocolate chips. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

Blonde Brownies

Mix 2/3 cup vegetable oil, 2 1/2 cups brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla. Then add 2 cups flour,1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, and 1 cup chocolate or peanut butter chips. Makes a very stiff batter. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 25- 30 minutes.
